Sunday morning, I received the heartbreaking news that my business, The Pink Lounge Dry Salt Therapy, was one of several local businesses broken into by individuals looking to take what they DID NOT earn. A few doors down, Thai Fusion was also targeted. Just up the road, Anna’s House and Sky Zone were hit as well.
These weren’t just businesses—they’re the dreams, sweat, and sacrifices of people who pour into OUR community every single day. And while I feel discouraged, I also feel grateful—grateful that no one was physically harmed during these senseless acts.
We will learn from this.
We will grow stronger.
We will reinforce our security, lean into the power of community, and we will not be shaken.
To the Kentwood Police Department, Officer Aidan Brown —thank you for your swift response, presence, and professionalism. Your support does not go unnoticed.
To our community: PLEASE Support local businesses now more than ever. PLEASE check on the owners you love. Show up, even with just kind words.I promise … they do go a looooong way!
To those who think breaking a window breaks our spirit—you clearly DON’T know who you’re dealing with. We see you and our camers do too and baby - you WILL get yours!
We may have been broken into, but we are not broken down. We’re still standing. Still serving. And still FULL of purpose. Again, my TT Tina Jones reminds me - GOD GOT ME!!! And guess what - whatever you are going through - He has YOU Too ❤️🩹
Posting this article regarding the break-ins. Thank you for your coverage. Sharing is caring!
PLEASE SUPPORT THESES BUSINESSES THIS WEEK (and beyond) AND SHOW YOUR SUPPORT OR CALL TO ENCOURAGE THEM WITH KIND WORDS! ❤️🩹
