The clinic will be closed again today due to the unsafe road conditions. We plan to be open tomorrow unless something changes. Please be patient going forward as missing these days will effect scheduling. If you had an appointment we will get you rescheduled in the coming days.

The snow day brought our clinic some very exciting news! It is our pleasure to introduce a new face to the veterinary clinic! Dr. Ashlyn D***s will be joining our team in June! Dr. Ashlyn is a native of Hammond and a soon to be graduate of Mississippi State School of Veterinary Medicine. She will be seeing both large and small animals at the clinic. Besides her exhaustive veterinary training, she has also been a veterinary technician for many years before starting her path to her doctorate. I know she looks forward to meeting all of our clients and we couldn’t be more excited to what she will bring to our team!

We are sorry for the inconvenience but we do not have power here at the clinic. If you already have an appointment scheduled for today, we will still see the patient but we cannot take any more new appointments for today. We will update everyone tomorrow about the power.

*Attention urgent*

Our internet lines were cut on accident this afternoon. This affects all functions of our clinic such as records, credit card machine, and most importantly phones. Because of this we will only be seing emergencies for anything that was not scheduled previously. If you already have an appointment, that appointment is still good we will just be working at a limited capacity. If you have an emergency, it is important you leave a message or we will not know you called because if our phone setup. We apologize for the inconvenience! Hopefully the issue will be fixed by end of day according to spectrum!

Last week, Pre-K learned about pets. Their word of the week was veterinarian. On Thursday, they had a special visitor - Dr. Brent Cooper, one of the vets at Kentwood Veterinarian Clinic. He talked to them about his job and how to take care of their pets at home.
