The American House challenge continues with week 7! The theme "Back to School" was a perfect fit for the start of September. What's one fruit that's synonymous with school? You guessed it! 🍎🍏 Our teams and residents had fun experimenting with different kinds of infused mocktails and water, including Apple Ginger, Apple Orange, Apple Cinnamon, and Apple Mint Cucumber! Next up is "Nature's Refreshment," and residents will definitely feel refreshed with some spa-inspired water infusions!

Thanks to AARP and Life Enrichment Director, Erika, Atlanta Braves superfan and American House Bristol resident Faye, experienced a Wish of a Lifetime! Not only had this lifelong fan never been to a game, Faye's first Braves game was a historic one—it was the first time a Major League baseball game was played in Tennessee, the state that Faye calls home ⚾

Well, maybe not THAT Turner, but very special nonetheless 🥰 Not only does Mrs Turner have a remarkable memory when it comes to dates and names, she has - wait for it - 78 grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren! And, yes, she knows all of their names 😉

Inspired by our Let Us Entertain You program, every American House community will be hosting a family night monthly event. This month’s event will take place on Wednesday, August 21 from 5-7 pm and the theme is Go For The Gold!

We encourage residents and guests to dress in their best Olympic games attire to support team USA! Get ready to be transported to our own Olympic Arena with games galore! The atmosphere will make residents, families, and friends feel like they are competing right alongside team USA and going for the gold!!

Make sure to come donned in your ‘competitive’ attire and bring along that winning spirit we know you have! We’re looking forward to celebrating a night of food, family, and friendly competition! GO TEAM USA!!
