A huge thank-you to everyone who brought the heat to our annual Chili Cookoff! From bold spices to secret family recipes, every pot was packed with flavor — but three stood out from the crowd!

Your culinary skills blew us away and warmed everyone’s hearts (and taste buds!).

🚑 The SIM Truck was at VBCH today!
We’re excited to welcome the Simulation in Motion (SIM) truck to our campus.
This hands-on training opportunity allows our clinical staff to practice real-world scenarios in a high-tech, mobile simulation environment—strengthening skills, teamwork, and patient safety.

Worldwide Pressure Injury Day

Today we join healthcare teams around the world in raising awareness about pressure injury prevention—because every person deserves safe, dignified, and compassionate care.

Key points:
• Reposition frequently and offload pressure with pillows or cushions.
• Keep skin clean, dry, and moisturized; check it daily for changes.
• Reduce friction and shear, and support good nutrition, hydration, and mobility.

Pressure injuries are often preventable with the right knowledge, early action, and teamwork. Simple steps like regular repositioning, skin checks, good nutrition, and appropriate support surfaces can make a life-changing difference.
