Empathy and boundaries aren’t opposites. Compassion and limits can coexist.

💛 Empathy is noticing a child’s feelings and responding with care.

🧭 Boundaries are calm, consistent limits that stay in place—even when emotions run high.

Within those limits, we can be flexible in how we support, connect, and guide.

Kids need both at the same time.
