🌟 Employee Spotlight: Angelica Littlejohn 🌟
We’re excited to shine a spotlight on Angelica Littlejohn, a dedicated member of our Family Medicine Team! 💚
Her commitment to providing excellent care and her positive attitude make a lasting impact every day. We’re truly grateful to have Angelica on our team and appreciate all she does for our patients and staff!
💬 Get to Know Angelica:
“I absolutely love advocating for my patients and my staff. I’ve worked in healthcare for over 17 years, beginning my career in health insurance as a claims adjuster. Later, I went back to school to earn my associate degree in medical assisting, which led me to MedAccess Urgent Care (later Duke Urgent Care). From there, I began traveling to provide employee health services—including onsite and saliva drug screens, breath alcohol testing, fit testing, and hearing testing—for organizations such as GKN and Novozymes at RTP, among others.
I eventually became the office manager for four urgent care locations: Roxboro, Chapel Hill, Youngsville, and Durham. During COVID, I had the opportunity to partner with several providers to help start their own private practices, serving as both their practice manager and coder. In 2021, I transitioned to a private behavioral health practice as the practice manager overseeing three locations in Burlington, Greensboro, and Eden.
My journey with Cone Health began in June 2024 as the office manager for Elmsley Square. I may be the ‘new kid on the block,’ but I’ve truly enjoyed the growth, the mission, and the values that Cone Health embodies for its staff and leaders. The opportunities here are endless, and I am forever grateful to be part of this organization. Cheers to a little over a year and already being highlighted! I can only give credit to God for His amazing favor over my life.”
