THROWBACK THURSDAY! 🛴🛵

Did you know the first mobility scooter was invented in 1968 by a plumbing and heating contractor named Al Thieme? A family member of his was suffering from Multiple Sclerosis and he was determined to help.

After countless hours in his garage, Al created The Amigo. The Amigo was the first mobility scooter made, named for being the best friend of the person who used it. It traveled 3-4 mph and used a basic electric motor to run. Read more about the history here -> https://www.myamigo.com/about-us/
