🎉 Resident Spotlight: Nancy Watson 🎉
Meet Nancy Watson, a warm and resilient member of our One Lincoln Park family! Nancy has been with us for over seven years, making meaningful connections and finding joy in everyday moments with her neighbors and staff.
Nancy is a huge part of our community—she serves on several resident committees and currently leads as the Chair of our Advisory Council, helping shape the experience for all who live here.
Originally from Eastern Ohio, Nancy moved to Dayton to work at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, where her journey began. She married and raised three children, and though she faced the heartache of losing her eldest to cancer at thirty, her strength and compassion have continued to inspire those around her.
Before retiring, Nancy took courses at Sinclair College and worked in ophthalmology—a fitting career for someone with such a caring heart. When her eyesight began to decline, she chose One Lincoln Park for its unbeatable transportation services and has made it her home ever since.
Nancy is an active participant in our community—enjoying bingo, the library, and of course, our reliable transportation. She also has a lifelong passion for sewing, cooking, and volunteering at her children's school. Her favorite meals here are salmon, Charles’s famous fried chicken, chicken and waffles, and buffet nights!
Her advice to anyone considering One Lincoln Park? "The residents and staff are so friendly—and the transportation can’t be beat!" One of her favorite memories here is simply the way everyone helps each other.
