Key West Lions Club Annual Fish Fry
Key West, Florida, August 25, 2023 -- Locals and island visitors alike are in for a real treat when the Key West Lions Club ignite the fryers and rattle the pots and pans in the kitchen of the iconic yellow building on North Roosevelt Boulevard. The Club, whose future was once uncertain, has roared back to life through its partnership with Literacy Volunteers of America – Monroe County and has continued to operate the Dr. Jose Sanchez Lions Eye Clinic.
Celebrate their success on Saturday, October 7th , 6 – 9 pm, and enjoy a genuine Key West fried fish dinner with black beans, yellow rice and all the fixin's from Kaya Island Eats – eat in or carry out, just $20; includes a homemade dessert with such Conch classics as Key Lime pie, guava bread pudding flan, and more. Take a chance on a 50/50 raffle, purchase a cold beverage at the cash bar, and dance to music of Lion Carmen Rodriguez accompanied by James King.
