Parents as Teachers, Mineral County Parents as Teachers is a FREE program to any family that is expecting, or has a child up to the age 5 Parents as Teachers is a evidence based program.

We are here to help and support you! We provide personalized home visits to fit the needs of your child and family. We connect you to the resources your family needs. We provide research based information to guide you in making good parenting decisions. We use age appropriate activities to help stimulate your child's development. We conduct screenings for early detection of possible delays or health issues. We provide an age appropriate children's book at each visit. There are no income requirements and we are a completely FREE program. We serve families prenatally through kindergarten. Enroll today! This program is being presented with financial assistance as a grant from the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources.
