How Long Do PRP Injections Last?

One week after receiving PRP injections, patients with osteoarthritis noted a decrease in pain with results that lasted for six months. PRP treatments generally last six months, and with periodic maintenance injections, can be extended for even longer. The period of efficacy for PRP treatments will depend on a number of factors, including:

- The condition which the PRP injections are targeting.
- The overall condition of health of the patient receiving the injection.
