Some moments just hit differently.

This week, I completed a Medical Massage CE in TMJ Dysfunction and it brought up more than I expected.

I’ve been doing jaw/face work for a while now, and my 14 years as a dental assistant gave me a deep understanding of how much TMJ dysfunction affects people. I spent over a decade watching people live with jaw pain, clenching, popping, and tension that impacted their sleep, their mood, their ability to just relax.
Back then, all I could do was listen, empathize, and wish I could do more.

Now… I can.
This training gave me even more depth, precision, and insight.
It helped me take what I already love doing and make it even more effective. By giving me the tools to help people feel real, lasting relief. Not just from TMJ dysfunction, but from the emotional weight that jaw tension can hold, the stress, the unspoken frustration, the tightness we carry and don’t even realize.

This work matters to me. Deeply.
And now, I get to offer it with even more skill, intention, and care.

Just finished working on some UFL athletes!

Being asked to be a part of this as an LMT is such a powerful reminder of how far I’ve come. To be trusted to support athletes at this level, to help them recover, perform, and feel their best, it’s an honor I don’t take lightly.
