FAQ: When should I schedule my child's first eye exam?

American Academy of Pediatrics recommends a comprehensive eye exam within the first 6 to 12 months.

Importantly, a second eye exam to address vision is recommended when your child is between 3 and 5 years old, then every 2 years after for kids with no known eye problems.
