Hello veterans and the community we would like to introduce our new Health Care Director of Division and board member.

Ms. Ti-Onna Watson began her career with the Dept. of Veteran Affairs in 2012 as a Spinal Cord Injury intern at the Tampa, FL V.A. Medical Center. She began federal service in 2013. Positions held are Patient Aligned Care Team Social Worker (Colorado Springs, CO CBOC), Compensated Work Therapy Social Worker (Salisbury, NC VA Medical Center), and Caregiver Coordinator (West TX VA Medical Center). She served as a Behavioral Health Consult Liaison -Lead Clinician with the Dept of Health Agency (Army/Ft Hood, TX) and Honorary Clinical Supervisor at Walden University.
Additionally, she is a Sexual Assault Response Coordinator and was recognized as Carl Darnall Army Medical Center’s Behavior Health Hero, October 2019.

Prior to coming onboard at AWVC, Ms. Watson served as Patient Experience Chief/ Veteran Experience Officer and Patient Advocate Supervisor at VA Maine (Togus). Ms. Watson is an Agent in Place for the Dept. of Veterans Affairs – authorized to oversee CEUs for 26 disciplines throughout the VA! Prior to federal service Ms. Watson has provided social work services to the Florida Dept. Of Children and Families (DCF), Agency for Community Treatment Services (ACTS) and the Alpha House of Tampa.

Ms. Watson has completed a Bachelor of Social Work at the University of South Florida and a Master of Social Work at Florida State University. Ms. Watson proudly refers to herself as an “Army Brat” as her late father served in the Gulf War. She is determined to continue his legacy by providing support to others. Ms. Watson is elated to join Ambrosia Wellness Veteran Center and honored to have the opportunity to serve as the Program Director for HBPC and Ambrosia Wellness Veteran Center.
