🦋Being a friend to someone struggling with their mental health .. 🦋

It’s not always the easiest position to be in but just know if you’re there for someone YOURE APPRECIATED 🫶🏽

- Try to listen without judgment

- let them share as little or as much as they need too

- Before the conversation begins , establish whether they are looking for your personal opinion or just needing to vent ( big difference)

- TRY to stay away from the phrase ”there’s people worse off than you “ (they usually know that )

- most importantly KNOW YOUR LIMITS AS A FRIEND ! If you can’t handle their mental it’s a way to make that known because sometimes it can be too much AND THATS OK 💚

- Never judge someone for their breakdowns , depression can happen to anyone. Even you 💚

-Anxiety and depression cases are raising at an all time high dealing with children

- Look for the signs

- YES , a child can be depressed . Understand that just because it doesn’t seem serious to you , doesn’t mean it’s not severely affecting their mental .

- For ages 10 - 24 s*uicide is the leading cause of death .

- It’s ok to explore other options besides meds . Explore all options and do what’s best for yours 💚
