🌟 Each year in the US, 12,000 babies are born with Fetal Alcohol Syndrome (FAS). FAS affects your child’s gross motor, fine motor, speech, vision, hearing, and intellectual development. There is no cure for FAS, however, it is 100% preventable by abstaining from alcohol consumption during pregnancy. Children with FAS may need physical, occupational, speech, and feeding therapy to address these deficits. 🌟
