Sitting out on the patio while my family rests before our return tomorrow.
I’ve been reminiscing on this trip — hands down, the best one we’ve ever taken. A trip with my family where no amount of money could replace the memories we’ve created just by being together.
Mom made sure to spoil us with every adventure possible — especially the ATV rides. That was the moment childhood memories rushed back in. There were tears, laughter, and a whole lot of mud — just like when we were kids. I still remember coming home with mud in my ears, hair, and clothes, and Mom being upset because we’d clog up the showers 🤣.
To relive those childhood moments as an adult — and now share them with my children, her grandchildren — has been nothing short of a blessing.
The beach has my heart. And the people in Mexico… so kind, warm, and welcoming. They greeted us with open arms and helped us at every turn. It’s humbling — we take so much for granted in our daily lives.
This trip reminded me not to. Time with those we love is the most valuable thing we have. Every second is a gift. And this time away has taught me to slow down, soak it all in, and appreciate every moment.
Now, it’s time to return — back to my patients, back to my passion. I feel renewed, grounded, and more focused than ever.
To all of you who supported me and protected this space so I could rest, unwind, and truly rejuvenate — thank you. It’s rare we get to step away like this, and your support meant the world.
To my mom — thank you for making this trip unforgettable. I love you more than words can say.
And to my husband — thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Thank you for guiding us, translating for us, and for showing me the beauty of life outside the United States. You opened my eyes to a world I now deeply cherish. Your love, patience, and leadership turned this trip into a life-changing experience. I’m so grateful to walk through life with you. I love you!
Until next time, Mexico! Hasta Luego!✌️
