Rosewood Heights provides best-in-class skilled nursing, short-term care, long-term care, rehabilitation therapy and respite care that Makes Lives Better for families in Killeen and the surrounding communities. Along with our Life Enrichment Director, we have volunteers from local area businesses who assist us every day in providing fun, educational, and functional activities for those residents w

ho are proud to call The Rosewood their home. Feel free to browse through our pictures and come by to meet our professional staff and spend some time. Any member of our team will be happy to visit with you and show you around when you choose to come by for a tour!

Rosewood Heights Ursula Bickham Halsig , Social Worker shares a heart warming story emphasizing the beauty of the opportunity to make a lifelong impact on our residents.

Ursula recalls, "In 2001 I switched from Pediatrics to Geriatrics but I carry all my former little patients in my heart. Justin Hedrick was diagnosed with stage 4 Neuroblastoma at 6 months old in 1994. I was a Pediatric social worker working with Chronically and Terminally ill children at Baylor Scott & White hospital. Justin spent 4 years fighting cancer & has remained cancer free for 28 years. He lives in Oklahoma now, but came to visit his father who lives in Temple and to stop by & visit with me. I still have a picture of him on my refrigerator.

Social Work is often a Thank-less job but moments like these remind me that my work is often meaningful in ways that can't be measured."
