So fitting!!! For my (lil hen) Christmas village :)

Perfect Pressure Cooker Brown Rice...

4 cups water
2 cups brown rice (not instant)
3 bouillon cubes (I use Knorr, 2 cups each cube)
3 dashes of Mrs. Dash (any flavor will work)
3 Table butter (not margarine)
Pepper (1/4 teaspoon is plenty)

Add all ingredients to pressure cooker. No need to stir. Set timer for 22 minutes. Let it go. Let it depressurize on its own.

If you don't have an electric one, a stove top one works too.

Lil hen here....summertime in Texas is brutal. So I made us some triple berry lemonade slushies.

2 cups ice, 2 cups frozen triple berries, 1/2 cup sugar, 1/4 cup lemon juice (bottled) and about 1/2 water. Place all ingredients (except water, add as needed) in a blender and blend till pureed. It made 3 8oz servings.

The youngest rooster and his hen are coming to see the lil hen and her rooster...Lol....So I've got Sopas on the stove:) it's starting to smell yummy already!!!

I made these cookies this past weekend & thought I would share with everyone. The recipe I made was actually doubled of this. But this is the regular recipe. It makes approx 5 dozen

It's been a while since I've posted on here. And to keep this page active, I needed to .... So, what is everyone's plans for Thanksgiving?? Are you cooking or going to someones house or going out to eat? Me, lil hen, is cooking at home. All the fixin's.
