This spring took a family adventure to Dinosaur Valley State Park, and it was nothing short of awesome! We hiked along the Paluxy River, hopping from stone to stone to reach the Main Track Site, had a windy lunch at the Overlook (where we had to hold onto our sandwiches!), and ended the day at The Ballroom, splashing in the cool water and pressing our hands into ancient tracks and listening to the kids be amazed at the natural history that they're playing in. Watching the kids run, explore, and experience history firsthand was pure magic.

If you haven’t been, go! There’s nothing like stepping where dinosaurs once roamed.

After several attempts at fish (they all died within the hour) we gave in to our son's request to get a snake. Meet Corny, our Corn Snake. Once he grows up a bit, Miles plans to bring him out to our vendor events.

This weekend, Our daughter led us on an epic "bear hunt" with a hand drawn map, around Chalk Ridge Falls off of Stilhouse Lake. Map in hand and adventure in her heart, we crossed rivers, climbed hills, and searched for tiny frogs along the water’s edge. No bears—but we found laughter, wonder, and the joy of seeing nature through her eyes. 🐾✨
