We offer a living alternative for those unable to care for themselves, and an array of nursing and rehabilitation services for short- and long-term stays. Our philosophy is that living and rehabilitation must include caring for the mind, body and soul. When you can't live or recover in your own home, we invite you to ours.

Last Friday, we proudly hosted our annual Heart Walk in honor of Heart Health Awareness Month!

Residents, families, staff, and our amazing therapy and activities teams all came together to support heart health and one another. We were also honored to have Fort Hood 2ABCT 8BEB ACO – 1st Platoon join us for this special walk.

They are incredibly proud to serve the families of our service members and veterans, and moments like these remind us how strong our community truly is. 💙

Before National Activity Professionals Week comes to an end, we want to take a moment to celebrate the incredible Activity team at Avir at Killeen. 💛

Jasmine, our Activity Director, has been part of the Avir family for six years. She began her journey as a CNA and has proudly served as our Activity Director for the past two years, leading with compassion and creativity. Alongside her is Tshoni, our Activity Assistant, who is also a CNA and has been making a meaningful impact for the past year through her energy, dedication, and care for our residents.

Together, they bring joy, connection, and purpose to our community every single day. We are so grateful for the difference you make.
