Our Story
I was once asked, “Why do you have a phoenix as part of your logo? Why not something stronger?” Out of the ashes does a phoenix rise! What hurt you did not kill you. Forte Defense believes that we rise by lifting others out of the ashes.
Sexual Assault is a crime of violence. Domestic Violence is a crime that few can understand unless they have been victim to it.
Forte Defense does not teach a martial arts program. We have a class teaching women how to escape and survive a sexual assault. Unfortunately, this class may contain triggers. Recently we began a partnership with another local instructor specializing in fi****ms, knives, and other weapons of opportunity. These options will help build skills to defend yourself. No one training can cover everything. No single class is enough...continued training is necessary. Students of Forte Defense have complete anonymity should it be requested.
