⭐️WHERE ARE THEY NOW? ⭐️ Shannon Davis, LMT 4652
I graduated in 2016! What an honor to be in the first class.

My career and all the opportunities I have experienced have been life changing. The places I’ve been and the fellow LMTs I have met along the way have been such a blessing. Being given the opportunity to assist my clients to help improve their daily life is truly humbling.

I started my career at Bluewater Massage & Bodywork and have been there ever since. I may have even been the first receptionist. HA! Thank you Kellony for taking me and mentoring me not just in my massage career. Thank you to our team. We are more like family and we all want to bring the best services to our clients.

I have had many opportunities to advance my knowledge in my field whether it’s for relaxing or issues that need very specific work. Some of my specialties are: Myofascial Release, Reflexology, Prenatal, TMJ, Pelvic Floor, Neck/Shoulder specific work. Each massage is centered specifically for my client’s needs at the time of their session.

I knew I wanted a career change. After talking with Kellony in 2015, this was the path I wanted. Just getting to be a small part of helping people and the connections you make over time is so humbling.

💙Shannon, being a firsthand witness to the countless people you have helped and still help over the years is humbling for us! You listened to your call in life. We are so grateful you took a leap of faith in our very first class of BIMT. You made a decision to change your life, and you did! We are so proud! 💙

⭐️WHERE ARE THEY NOW? ⭐️ Taylor Devore, LMT # 6261

Hello! My name is Taylor, and I graduated in April of 2023. I've worked at Eden Day Spa in Florence for a bit over 2 years ever since I graduated and earned my license.

I've specialized in prenatal massage and love the special energy I feel helping women feel relief in one of the most difficult yet magical times in their life.

I LOVE my job, and I always recommend massage school to anyone who will listen. BIMT introduced me to a career where I feel real purpose while also being able to prioritize myself, and with endless modalities/ techniques to learn, I'm never bored.

💙Taylor, watching you thrive in a career you love has been incredible! We are so proud of you! 💙

WHERE ARE THEY NOW? ⭐️ Makayla Smith, LMT 4761⭐️

I graduated in June of 2017. I specialize in neck work, prenatal massage and deep tissue massage

I have worked at Bluewater massage and Body Work since 2016.

Within the last 4 years I have married my wonderful husband and we have two loving and wild little boys.

My Momma went through the very first class at BIMT, which I found really fascinating. Seeing how she helped some of my issues with massage led me toward becoming a massage therapist myself. I learned quickly it was the right decision for me. The relationships I built with clients is something I have always cherished. I’m beyond thankful and blessed to have the career that I have and to help others.

💙We have watched you help countless people over the years Makayla! This world needed you as an LMT. You are very blessed & skilled, and we are so proud of all your accomplishments!💙

WHERE ARE THEY NOW? ⭐️Tripp Vaughn, LMT 15238 (TN)⭐️

I graduated from BIMT on February 29, 2024! My career started out at Bluewater Massage & Bodywork and I loved it but unfortunately had to move for family reasons.

My career path led me to The Now Massage in Franklin, TN where I am still practicing currently.

I specialize in deep tissue and do a lot with athletes, injuries, and stretching. (Not all of them are athletes. There’s a lot of them that have only had surgeries in the past and their recovery didn’t go as well as hoped so I work on their joint and muscle mobility around where there surgery was as well as effected areas.)

I’m planning on doing Sports massage CEs in the future along with many more!

Going to massage school was one of the best decisions I have ever made! I love what I do all while working great hours and I can support my family better than I have ever been able to all thanks to the fact that i decided to go to massage school! I owe so much to Bluewater and its amazing instructors for helping me get here!

💙Tripp, the Shoals area misses you! But we are so proud to watch you thrive in this career in Franklin! You are excellent with Sports Massage and we know you are helping countless people!💙

Where are they now? ⭐️Olivia Bishop, LMT ⭐️

I graduated from BIMT in May 2024.

My career has given me the most flexibility in my life. It allows me complete control of my schedule and I love being able to spend time traveling with my husband and family.

I have worked at Bluewater Massage & Bodywork since I passed the Mblex and I have found incredible success there. The environment and the clientele are so special to me and I am grateful to have had the opportunity to gain valuable experience there.

Now: I am proud to be opening my own business, Panacea Bodywork, sometime in October! I am excited to be doing what I love in my hometown of Rogersville.

My specialities are deep tissue therapeutic massage.

I am beyond thankful for my education at BIMT. I have found amazing mentors in Kellony Kristof and Sebrina Steeley. Going to massage school was one of the best decisions I could have made. I truly love what I do.

💙We love watching you follow your dreams Olivia! So proud of you in so many ways!💙

WHERE ARE THEY NOW: ⭐️ Sherry Gresham, LMT #6534 ⭐️

Graduated Massage Therapy School in 2024.

Since graduating in 2024, my career in massage therapy has been incredibly rewarding. I’ve grown both professionally and personally through my daily work with clients, and I’m grateful to be in a field that is so supportive and wellness-focused. Helping clients manage pain, reduce stress, and find deep relaxation brings me a sense of purpose every day.

I currently work at Bluewater Massage and Bodywork, where I’ve been since graduation. The environment here is calm and nurturing—perfectly aligned with my personality and strengths. I feel fortunate to work alongside others who share my passion for wellness and healing.

I specialize in Swedish massage, deep tissue, sciatica and headache relief, carpal tunnel therapy, and more—but my greatest strength lies in relaxation techniques that help calm the nervous system and reduce overall stress. Seeing the positive effects of massage after just one session—and hearing feedback from returning clients—is incredibly fulfilling.

Choosing to pursue massage therapy was deeply personal. I wanted a career where I could truly help others in a meaningful way, while also working in a peaceful, slower-paced environment. Living with an autoimmune disorder, I also needed a career that offered flexibility and supported my own well-being. Massage therapy has provided all of that—and more. I truly love what I do, and coming to work feels like a welcome escape where I can make a real difference.

💙We are so proud of you Sherry! You help so many people heal in many ways. Watching you grow in your career makes our hearts so proud!💙

WHERE ARE THEY NOW? ⭐️Jessi White, LMT 5497 ⭐️

I graduated from BIMT, Class 7, in February 2020… a month before the world shut down. 🫣 I am currently working as a massage therapist at my own studio, Flow Massage and Yoga Studio in Russellville, AL (E-3876) .
Since graduating I have also become a yoga instructor where I teach group and private classes three days a week. I also am a trainer at a local gym where I also teach group classes.

Recently I have taken a pretty big deep dive into more sports massage and therapeutic work. However, my specialty is pre- and post- natal massage and I enjoy working with people with special needs and their families. One of the best things about massage therapy is that you will continue to learn and grow and shape your career into the career that you enjoy and love.

I made the decision to go to massage school because I had the desire to work but needed more flexibility with my schedule. I couldn’t imagine not making this step in my life because it has opened many doors for me. I have learned to love and care for myself and helped others do the same.

💙Jessi, all your accomplishments make us so proud! Taking that step into school was definitely a calling on your life. You’re doing great things!💙

I recently graduated in class 20!
I am just starting out but I am loving it so much. I am working at Angel Mane Salon in Loretto, TN.
My focus is relaxation and stress reduction.

I am so blessed to have been given the opportunity to go to BIMT. This school was one of my biggest blessings.
I think I have found my calling, which is to help heal people by giving them a calm and relaxing environment to where they can unwind and calm their mind.

💙Kendra, you are so gifted as a massage therapist! We feel it was your calling too! 💙
