🧡 November is CRPS Awareness Month! 🧡

Someone we love dearly suffers from CRPS, so we would like to shine a light on what exactly Complex Regional Pain Syndrome is. CRPS is a chronic pain condition that usually affects a limb after an injury or surgery. It is characterized by prolonged or excessive pain and changes in the affected area, which can include:
1. Severe Pain: The pain experienced is often more intense than what would typically be expected from the initial injury. It can be constant and disabling.
2. Sensitivity: The affected area may become hypersensitive to touch, temperature changes, or pressure. Even light touch can provoke pain.
3. Swelling and Changes in Color: People with CRPS often experience swelling in the affected limb, along with changes in skin color, temperature, and texture.
4. Motor Dysfunction: Symptoms can also include muscle weakness, stiffness, and difficulty moving the affected limb, leading to a decrease in mobility.

CRPS is thought to result from damage to the peripheral and central nervous systems, but its exact cause is not fully understood.

I'm rebranding and renaming Glistening Glam by Amber!!

Welcome to Revive & Glow! Be on the look out for the new name change soon!

After almost 18 years in the dental field, I have decided to hang it up and continue to grow my own business!! I'm excited but nervous to make the big jump, but I am so proud of how far I've come and know all will be just fine!

I first need to Thank my husband Shane for his continued support and always encouraging me to take chances! Thank you to my children Caleb, Aubree and Aubree's fiancé Noah for holding down the fort and making supper all the time while I am away whitening teeth in the evening. Thanks to the ladies of Luxx for being so supportive constantly! I also can't thank all of you enough that have supported my business the past 21 months by sharing social media posts, handing out business cards, inviting me to vendor events, spreading the word to your family and friends and by having your teeth whitened at Glistening Glam by Amber. I am so grateful for you all!

Now, what exactly does this all mean for you? I will be moving into my own space at Luxx Beauty & Wellness next month having more open hours for whitening teeth and a new service! I am so excited to announce I will be adding the oh so popular and relaxing head spa therapy to my list of services! I am currently taking a head spa training course and awaiting the delivery of my equipment! I can't wait to help revive your scalp and keep making those teeth glow!!

Annnndddd...On top of all of this, I have taken a huge interest in the world of esthetics and have been accepted to the Aesthetician program at FVTC! I am currently on the waitlist to get started! So, be on the lookout for more services to be added in the future!
