Billing Specialist
We are looking for a billing specialist to bill patients and submit and process medical claims to insurance companies. Duties also include follow-up on unpaid claims and appealing denied and unpaid claims. Must maintain up-to-date knowledge of insurance policies and regulations and communicate with patients. Willing to train a qualified and highly motivated individual. Paid vacation, holidays, retirement plan, vision plan, and stipend toward health insurance.
32-40 hours per week with weekends off.

We no longer accept VSP insurance but you can still come to us for eyecare.
Your health insurance may pay for a comprehensive eye exam if you have a medical diagnosis such as dry eyes, diabetes, or cataracts, etc.
You may submit your visit to VSP for out-of-network reimbursement.
Of course, you can always pay for services out of pocket, we're still happy to provide care for you!

LIGHTNING-FAST VISION

For you to see even a single image, countless chemical and electrical reactions must fire off in perfect order. Prevent Eye Injuries
To help prevent eye injuries during fireworks season, the American Optometric Association recommends the following tips to help protect and preserve eyesight during the Fourth of July holiday:

Discuss fireworks safety with children and teens prior to the Fourth of July holiday.
Do not allow kids to handle fireworks, and never leave them unsupervised near fireworks.
Wear protective eyewear when lighting and handling fireworks of any kind.
Store fireworks, matches and lighters in a secure place where children won't find them.
Sparklers are not safe for small children. Heating up to 2,000 degrees or hotter, sparklers accounted for more than half of the total estimated injuries to children under age 5, according to the CPSC.
Be aware of your surroundings and only light fireworks when family, friends and children are at a safe distance.
