WHAT IS MEDICAL MASSAGE?
Massage Therapy is like playing guitar. Everyone learns the same chords, scales and fi*****ng but after learning the basics, the individual chooses their focus, whether it be jazz, blues, classical or rock.
All LMTs in NYS pass the same boards, then they choose their focus: relaxation, cranial sacral, spa, sports, beauty, chair, travel, etc.
I excelled at restoring function and pain relief so I did continuing education in medical massage.
