Still Not Paying Attention to Electromagnetic Fields (EMFs)
When working through immune related symptoms, especially neurological sensitivity, it can help to pay attention to factors that are often overlooked but may add layers of stress to the system. EMFs are one environmental factor some people choose to pay attention to. Electric cars, Wi Fi routers, modems, wireless earbuds, cell phones, and computers are technologies most of us interact with every day.
In my case, many of my neurological symptoms were connected to Epstein Barr virus reactivation, commonly known as mono. During those years of flares, the pain and discomfort often felt inescapable. That experience pushed me to start looking more closely at potential triggers and environmental stressors that might have been contributing to how I felt.
When you are in that state, everything starts to matter more than science can always prove. You have to stay curious and reduce the stressors you can control. Many people remain stuck leaning on comfort foods, unable to access the support that could help them heal, or unaware that reducing certain lifestyle and environmental stressors may make a difference.
I found my way forward through naturopathic and integrative medicine, learning from coaches who had lived through similar experiences, and by taking my nutrition and lifestyle seriously.
