Wellness Within is a massage studio that specializes in therapeutic bodywork to address the physical maintenance needs of the working & retired community. Contemporary cupping methods & other integrative modalities are also applied to meet the specific physical, mental & spiritual needs of each client. These quality complementary health services are offered in the heart of town behind the Mary Washington Urgent Care facility. In addition to providing therapy at the studio, we offer hassle free Mobile Services to accommodate individual therapy sessions, spa parties & on-site chair massage for business/personal events. Services are available in regions of Fredericksburg, King George, Westmoreland County, Stafford, Caroline County, and beyond. Amy is certified in various modalities such as Contemporary Cupping by the International Cupping Therapy Association & has completed Infant Massage Education courses through Infant Massage USA. Other various massage modalities include but are not limited to Deep Tissue and Deep Pressure, Hot Stone Therapy, Sports Massage, Prenatal Massage and Medical Massage treatment. Our hours vary as we try to be flexible for clients & maintain a healthy balance in our personal life. The hours listed on our page are a general idea of when appointments are available but they are always subject to change based on the amount of appointments that are booked, when clients can get to the studio & personal life. In addition, we try to return all messages, phone calls & emails within 1-2 business days. We may offer online scheduling in the future but currently we are not ready for that step. Massage therapy bridges the gap between physical therapy sessions—additionally supporting fascia, easing tension patterns, addressing secondary restrictions, and helping your progress feel more integrated and sustainable.

Together myofascial release and therapeutic massage calm the nervous system, improve tissue hydration, and release compensatory tension patterns that often develop after injury, chronic pain or long term body mechanics patterns. When massage is combined with physical therapy, this creates space for deeper healing—helping your body move forward with more ease and less resistance.

✨ Double the giggles, double the glow ✨

We’ve had the absolute joy of hosting two sister Pampered Princess Spa Days over the last few days, and our hearts are full. 💕

Each pair of sisters enjoyed relaxing infrared sauna time with their own music picks — everything from Taylor Swift to YoungBoy NBA 🎶 (because wellness is always better with your favorite playlist).

Their pampering continued with a soothing Epsom salt foot soak, seasonal aromatherapy, and a fun selection of bubbly sparkling waters to sip and relax.

We finished each treatment with gentle head, face & neck massage, dry brushing on arms and legs with light massage, hot towel compression, and of course… a cozy warm lavender eye mask 🌿💆🏼‍♀️

Watching sisters unwind, laugh, and learn self-care together is truly one of the sweetest parts of what we do.
These moments are pure magic ✨👑

We are deeply grateful for every client, every conversation, every moment of trust you’ve shared with us this year. Because of you, we’re able to do this work and be present at home with our families during the holidays — and that means more than words can say.

We are closed today to celebrate Christmas, but we’ll reopen tomorrow.

INCLEMENT WINTER WEATHER UPDATE ❄️

As of this evening, all appointments for tomorrow will remain as scheduled.
Wellness Within will be open as planned, and we will revisit our status early tomorrow morning once we have a clearer picture of the road conditions.

Your safety — and ours — is always at the heart of every decision we make. Many of us are traveling with children, commuting longer distances, and navigating weather-affected areas. Even when parking lots and sidewalks are treated, there is still a risk for slips and falls that we want to help you avoid.

Thank you for your understanding as we monitor this winter system. We will provide an update first thing in the morning.
