These quality complementary health services are offered in the heart of town behind the Mary Washington Urgent Care facility. In addition to providing therapy at the studio, we offer hassle free Mobile Services to accommodate individual therapy sessions, spa parties & on-site chair massage for business/personal events. Services are available in regions of Fredericksburg, King George, Westmoreland County, Stafford, Caroline County, and beyond. Amy is certified in various modalities such as Contemporary Cupping by the International Cupping Therapy Association & has completed Infant Massage Education courses through Infant Massage USA. Other various massage modalities include but are not limited to Deep Tissue and Deep Pressure, Hot Stone Therapy, Sports Massage, Prenatal Massage and Medical Massage treatment. Hours of operation:
Our hours vary as we try to be flexible for clients & maintain a healthy balance in our personal life. The hours listed on our page are a general idea of when appointments are available but they are always subject to change based on the amount of appointments that are booked, when clients can get to the studio & personal life. In addition, we try to return all messages, phone calls & emails within 1-2 business days. We may offer online scheduling in the future but currently we are not ready for that step. I can’t remember walking into the studio, on a Monday at that, and experiencing so much joy & watery happy eyes at first sight! 🥹🪶🩵

We pulled into the parking lot & Winnie said, “oh, feathers!”

I didn’t think anything of it and backed into my parking spot.

As I got out of the car I saw exactly what she was talking about — these beautiful, perfect wooden feathers mounted on our entry way!

I knew it could have only been one person, our great neighbor over at — Mr. Bobby — he also has a really cool electrical wooden totem at his entry!

He saw these feathers made by at an event & knew they would be perfect for our entry!

I’ve been working at sprucing up the place & eventually would make my way to the outside of our entry.. so this was an amazing surprise!!!!🪶
I could scream cry!

& let me just explain that feathers are more than just feathers to me!!!

I was captured by 3 feather pictures in 2018 — knowing I wanted them in my own personal practice massage room one day.

At the time I bought them I had no clue they would end up traveling from my floor, to my first treatment room & then to my current space — and ultimately becoming a staple to my brand.

But why feathers?

Feathers are free. They are lightweight. They are strong. They go with the flow. They propel forward. They are a growth. They’re a covering & protection. Feathers are each brilliantly their own.

I could go on and on about what feathers mean & represented throughout cultures. You get the gist.

There are so many similarities in the qualities of feathers & what I, Wellness Within, stand & pray for through power of the Holy Spirit, facilitated by healing touch.

When you come in & walk out of Wellness Within, we want you to feel like you’ve taken a step forward in your wellness goals, free flowing, lightweight, and stronger — even through the ups & downs of healing, mentally & physically.

today in a 45 minute window between clients I decided to itch the extreme hyper fixation to get the bathroom refresh started 😅😆🙃🥳

I want to give a shoutout to my amazing teammate, Brooke aka. , for simply being who she is.

I truly could not have asked for a better teammate. I prayed and waited for 2 years for a “star player” to join my team… & she’s the one.

On a real level — we are very different people with different views, but that never changed the Divine plan that was waiting for this collaboration. At the end of the day, we make a killer team.

We both just naturally pick up and fill in wherever something needs to be done, and even through the bumps, we stay laughing.

She is fun, shows up early, stays late, is incredibly smart, passionate, and deeply dedicated to her craft. She’s always learning, always growing, and always challenging herself in both life and business.

It is truly a joy to have her on the Wellness Within team. Ya girl is SO grateful. 🤍
