Mid week reminder that you got this and it is never too late to start!
I havenāt posted in a long time, but I thought Iād share my own training work so that others can relate. I was in an ATV accident 14 weeks ago which resulted in 10 broken ribs, 1 broken clavicle, and slight punctures in my lungs. 14 weeks I have been resting, using alternative healing methods, and healing. I did not start exercises until about 10 weeks post, so that I could give my displaced bones proper time to rebuild before creating more āstressā for the body. I have a long way to go, but I am happy to be back at it!
I cannot say this enoughā¦GIVE YOUR BODY TIME! The top thing people can do is REST and it is the one thing people skip over. NSAIDS and ice prolong healing and make more work for the cells. Proper nutrition, breath work, meditation, avoidance of toxins, and a gradual return are key factors.
