The pistol squat is a powerful single-leg movement that challenges your strength, balance, mobility, and control — all at once. Great for building strong, stable legs that translate to real-world strength and athletic performance.

Movement Prompts:
- Stand tall and extend one leg straight out in front
- Keep your chest up and arms reaching forward
- Sit back slowly into the squat on one leg, keeping your knee in line with your foot
- Lower with control, then drive through your whole foot to return to standing

Struggling with depth or balance? No problem — here are a few other variations:
Box Tap: Squat down to lightly tap a box or bench, then stand back up
TRX-Assisted: Use a TRX strap to help balance and reduce load

Whether you're training for strength, control, or just to conquer an advanced move — pistol squats are worth the work💪

Move of the Month‼️

Sitting has never been so productive
The 90-90 stretch is a great one to open up your hips and get you ready for anything from pickleball to a hard leg day. 🦵

Movement Prompts:
- Knees should be bent at 90 degrees
- Thighs should stay 90 degrees apart from each other
- Rotate your hips back and forth trying to keep your back straight

Try going back and forth for 30 seconds to a minute and see how it opens up your hips and gets them ready to move! You can perform this leaning back on your hands or upright with no support for an added core challenge.

💥💥 For a strength challenge within the stretch, push your body into a kneeling position on each rep.
