Some days are extra special. You know those days where the magic and energy of the universe flows freely. At least I hope you do.

Today marks the fifth birthday of a sweet fireball who raced into the world before we could leave the house for the hospital. I stepped in to catch him. It was both the hardest and most beautiful thing I’ve ever done besides birth my own children.

Fast forward to today, I / actually/ got to support a friend and fourth time repeat client. The two previous births I was not able to attend so this felt like an extra special gift. She brought her sweet baby into the world with power, strength and ease (in my eyes).

These births are special because I felt them in my core before they happened. I had a knowing about them. I knew the timing of when I would be needed and the swiftness with which they would arrive. There was a deep peace in my soul for both of these births. And this necklace, a gift from my was-band, meant to carry moms easily through labor, made it to both.
It is a precious gift to be in the flow. I pray you find your place, your peace, your flow.

This Women’s History Month, we honor the lineage of women who came before us — and the ones continuing the work inside modern healthcare systems today.

At King of Prussia Doulas, we believe birth is both physiological and supported by collaborative care. Doulas work alongside nurses, midwives, and OB providers to ensure families feel informed, respected, and empowered — whether you’re planning an unmedicated birth, an epidural, or a cesarean.

Birth is still sacred.
Wisdom still meets becoming.
