Rebooking Strategies for Small Businesses
(From a Licensed Massage Therapist and former Sales Manager)
1. Ask Open-Ended Questions: Instead of yes/no questions like, “Would you like to rebook?” ask open-ended questions such as, “How soon are you able to come back?” or, “How does your availability look in the next 2-3 weeks?”
2. Highlight the Benefits of Regular Appointments: Emphasize the advantages of rebooking, such as maintaining results or staying on track with their goals. For example, “Booking your next appointment now will ensure we continue to make progress.”
3. Personalize the Rebooking Experience: Reference previous conversations or preferences when suggesting a rebooking time. For example, “Last time, you mentioned that Wednesdays work best for you. How about we schedule your next appointment for two weeks from now?”
4. Create a Sense of Urgency: Mention your availability, hinting that spots fill up quickly. For example, “Our schedule tends to book up fast, so I recommend we secure your next appointment today.”
5. Educate Clients on the Long-Term Plan: Discuss the overall journey or treatment plan and how rebooking fits into achieving their goals. “Due to the repetitive work that’s causing you the most pain, I recommend coming back every 2-3 weeks to keep the tension at a minimum.”
6. Offer Prepaid Packages or Bundles: Encourage clients to purchase prepaid packages or bundles that include multiple sessions, making it easier and more cost-effective for them to commit to future appointments. For instance, “We offer a bundle package that saves you 15% and ensures you have your next few appointments secured.”
✨Mama Gaia Therapeutic Massage is excited to announce that we now offer prepaid bundles with amazing discounts and add-ons!!✨
