Always manic after October Half Term to Christmas. Absolutely knackered but love spending time with the aquatic community. This morning started at Queen Annes School with the Artistic Swimming Regional Squad trials then dashed to The Abbey School for Reading Swimming Club NRASTC training followed by an NRASTC assessment for Reading Swimming Club & GLL swimming teachers. Tomorrow will be Artisitc Swimming Level 1 Judge training at The Abbey School then it’s CHRISTMAS 😴🎄🥳

I have an Emergency First Aid at Work course running in Reading tomorrow (Sunday) and people are dropping like flies. If anyone needs this training/qualification and wants a cheap last minute place message me.

I have a new found respect for Primary Teachers. Today I volunteered to do some First Aid with Year4/5 at Theale Primary School as part of their Life Skills learning. 3 groups of 30 for 40 minutes each. When it finished I felt like I just come off the Waltzer at the fun fair! A warm welcome from the staff and great interaction from the students.

Di Hughes Training

Hi, my name is Di and whilst this is my new business venture, I have worked in this industry for the last 30 years.

I am a passionate, committed, personable person who strives to make people comfortable whilst delivering First Aid tuition. I previously worked for the British Red Cross as a youth trainer in the Thames Valley area teaching First Aid to both young people and adults working with or responsible for young people. I currently train all the lifeguards who work in the Reading Borough Council leisure centres and previously ran all the lifeguard courses too.

With regards to First Aid courses and First Aid training my client list includes: Theale C of E Primary School, The Abbey School, John Madjeski Academy, Reading Borough Council, Berkshire Maestros & Brightstart Nursey.

I am fortunate enough to have worked with young people, and in education for many years and you may know me or associate my name with other groups I am connected with rather than first aid.
