Key Responsibilities:
-Under the direction of the radiologist, performs appropriate diagnostic exams and studies to ensure safe, high quality patient care.
-Under the direction of the Radiologist and the Arizona Department of Health Services (AZDHS), administers ionizing radiation for the purpose of diagnosis which includes positioning the x-ray beam with respect to the patient, anatomically positioning the patient, selecting exposure factors, and initiating exposure.
-Uses professional judgment to adapt imaging procedures to ensure quality diagnostic outcomes.
-Monitors patient and equipment during procedures, accurately documents exam times (start and stop), patient reactions or problems, and reports concerns or issues immediately to supervisor.
-Documents patient and exam occurrences in the appropriate Imaging software database, to include exam start and complete times.

-Graduate of Radiologic Technologist program

Licensure/Certification:

- Graduate of accredited seminary or school of theology or appropriate certification in a hospital or pastoral ministry
Licensure:

-Level one fingerprint clearance card or application required within 20 days of hire
Experience:
-Demonstrated clinical experience in areas of terminal illness, grief and loss, individual, family, and group therapy
