During nursing home week one of our days to dress up was dress for the great outdoors. These girls went all out. Great job girls!!!

Dr. Moots has been our medical director since we opened in 1989. She has decided to retire. We threw her a retirement party last week to thank her for her many years of service.

Thank you to Rivercross Hospice, Angel's Hospice and Interim Hospice for donating prizes during Nursing Home Week. Thank you to Hartley's Fish Farm for the fish so our residents could enjoy a full day of fishing and to Mike and Marsha Strothman for the stock tank. We had such a fun filled week. We couldn't have done it without each one of you!!!!

We have celebrated Nursing Home Week all week but one thing our residents love to do is fish. We spent all day outside fishing and had so much fun. In the afternoon we loaded up our Wheatlands Place Residents so they could come join in on the fun and also be there when Storm Creek Animal Farm came to visit. Such a rewarding day to see all the smiles on so many faces.

Our residents starting at 9:30 today until 3:30 will be outside all day fishing in our stock tank under the front covered awning. Please do not drive under there if you visit today. Thank you.

Congratulations to these two employees, Brandy and Rhys, on winning our drawing for having perfect attendance in April and staying caught up on all their required training!
