A fun activity to work on handwriting skills and executive functioning skills.

Executive functioning skills are the cognitive abilities that help you plan, organize, and manage tasks which include remembering instructions, controlling impulses, and adapting to changing situations.

This kiddo was tasked with writing the steps to make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Then, his therapist made the sandwich according to his instructions. As you can see, his written instructions were lacking. However, he did an awesome job with verbal instructions as he walked the therapist through the steps on the second attempt.

It was a fun time with lots of laughs. 😊

We had such a great time! We are happy so many friends came out to PLAY! We are also grateful for Better Balance Physical Therapy and Wellness for partnering with us. The knowledge Josh Lopez brings to the table has helped so many adults with issues related to mobility, pain, balance and so much more. It's important for parents to stay active to play with their kids and support building important skills. As adults, we sometimes feel young at heart but our bodies hold us back...this does NOT have to be the case. Please reach out for more information!

It's time for another PLAY DATE!😆We hope you will join us on Saturday March 8th from 9am-10am at Project Movement with Better Balance Physical Therapy and Wellness as our co-host. Josh Lopez is an AMAZING physical therapist that offers a lot of knowledge in supporting adults.

Come learn about the importance of movement while engaging in activities that challenge your gross motor skills. While supporting your child's growth and development learn how you can maintain you own motor skills to keep up with your kiddo. We will provide the tools to help you stay active...just be ready to move your body.

We have had some families ask about parenting classes as well as additional support for neurodivergent children. Therefore, we have invited M.I.K.I.D. to come to our clinic and give a presentation about their services and classes offered to families in our community.

We hope that you will take this opportunity to join us for this information night as we look forward to learning more about how other companies serve our community so we can work together for the well-being of all children with different needs and abilities.
