Our week has been spud-tacular! 🥔❤️
Our Valentine’s crafts took a starchy turn this week! We traded in the traditional brushes for some potato stamps to work on those big OT goals.
While the kids were busy making heart-stamped masterpieces, we were focusing on:
Sensory Integration: Exploring the cold, wet, and slightly bumpy texture of raw potatoes mixed with the squish of paint. 🎨
Grip Strength & Grading of Force: Learning just how hard to press to get a clear heart shape without "smushing" the paint!
Motor Planning: Coordinating that "reach, dip, and stamp" sequence.
Visual Motor: Aiming for the paper and spacing out those hearts just right.
It’s messy, it’s tactile, and it’s a whole lot of fun.
Happy Valentine's Day to all our hard-working kiddos!
