Captain George Ontiveros brought with him a fellow police officer, as well as Fire Chief Shae Brooks, and several from the Kingman EMS to visit with the residents today for our monthly talk. Such a treat! He promised a fun suprise for next month. Can't wait to see what's in store.

Our local American Legion came to Wheatlands Health Care Center Tuesday and honored our 9 Veterans with a special program lead by Chester James. This was such an honor and so appreciated. Video to come.

Happy Halloween!! Wheatlands celebrated all day. We had a staff potluck lunch and voted on the top 3 dishes, followed by a staff costume contest. A big thank you to Amy Padilla for making the awesome trophies. We then had our resident Halloween party followed by or residents partaking in trick or treat street. It was awesome. We had so many kids this year we almost ran out of goodies. We can't thank the community enough for bringing your kids up for the residents to see your kids and give them candy.

We always look forward to Halloween when the morning and afternoon preschoolers come to sing for us. Such a treat to see them all in their costumes!!! Thank you Morgan Clouse and all your staff for bringing them up.

Belinda is the winner of our “Who Stole the Candy?” Scavenger Clue Hunt!
She cracked the case and discovered that Vampire Vicky stole the candy in the break room with her ghoulish gloves!
