She is licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Board of Registration in Medicine and certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. She received her Masters Degree in Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine from the New England School of Acupuncture and continued her studies at the Traditional College of Acupuncture and Herbal Chinese Medicine in Beijing, China. She founded Whole Person Health, a multi-disciplinary holistic clinic with a staff of 13 in Stoughton, Massachusetts. She then sold the clinic and moved to Kingman, Kansas and while establishing a private practice named Advanced Acupuncture and Wellness Therapies, earned an RN degree. She speaks just enough Spanish to be dangerous
