I just want to take a minute to say thank you. So many of my friends and colleagues have come along side us to help provide food and shelter for our less fortunate friends in Shelby. The emergency winter shelter is open! Last night there were 17 out 20 beds full! If you or your business would like to help, below is a list of needs. We also have an Amazon wish list. If you’re interested in providing a meal, we have 3 open slots in November. The shelter is open until March so there is plenty of opportunity to get on the calendar. Ministry needs at this time
1. Clorox wipes
2. Milk (we feed breakfast everyday)
3. Toilet Paper
4. Paper plates
5. Bowls (paper or plastic)
6. Grab and go snacks
7. Pop top food ( Vienna sausage, beanie weanies, potted meat, soups, things easy to heat over a fire for our displaced families)
8. Coffee
9. Creamer
10. Sugar
12. Styrofoam cups
13. Pine sol or fabuloso
14. Laundry detergent
15. Change or monetary donations to be able to wash clothes.
