The Nassau-Suffolk Funeral Directors Association (NSFDA), founded during the mid-1980s, is an organization of over 280 New York State Licensed Funeral Directors and New York State Registered Funeral Firms The Nassau-Suffolk Funeral Directors Association (NSFDA), founded during the mid-1980s, is an organization of New York State Licensed Funeral Directors and New York State Registered Funeral Firms dedicated to:

Promoting high ethical and business standards in the Funeral profession. Supporting those who minister daily to the needs of the bereaved
Providing the continuing education necessary for individual enhancement and in order to meet New York State licensing requirements. Advancing the interaction between Licensed Funeral Directors and those agencies with which they deal on behalf of themselves and the families they serve.

Off to deliver over 1,000 donated toys collected by funeral homes across Long Island in support of the John Theissen Children's Foundation.

On Friday we got an early start gathering together with the donation of toys that were collect by funeral homes across Long Island for the John Theissen Children's Foundation. This year was their 34th Toy Drive, and our 1st Hearse Haul.

Thank you everyone who participated in the first annual Hearse Haul, supporting the John Theissen Children's Foundation! Here's just a few photos of the many donation boxes that were located at funeral homes all across Long Island. We don't have an exact count, but by the looks of it easily over 1,000 toys were donated this year. Great Job Everyone!

What a wonderful procession, escorted by NCPD and NYS Troopers as we delivered the toys you all collected for the John Theissen Children's Foundation. More highlights from the event to come!
