Meet our Spotlight Employee for the Month of November... Lindsay!

Lindsay is a Registered Nurse for Sunny Days. She has been with the company for almost 4 years! She lives in Harrisville, Pennsylvania with her Husband, their 4 children, and pets: dogs, cats, pigs, chickens, and a turkey! Outside of work Lindsay enjoys watching her kids at their events, hunting with her husband, and spending time with her family. Her favorite food is soft pretzels, her favorite movie is Matilda, and she enjoys listening to all kinds of music. A fun fact about Lindsay is that she went white water rafting and got tossed overboard by a rouge rapid when she was a teenager.

When asked about her favorite part about working with Sunny Days, Lindsay replied: “The values that the company portrays, not only do they speak the values, but they act out these values as well...” Lindsay’s advice for new employees is: to put your heart into it and truly enjoy what you are doing, we really do important work. Her favorite memory is when she was traveling to North Carolina after the recent flooding and witnessing upper management disperse much needed supplies, hearing the local's stories and learning that we are truly making a difference. Lindsay’s life mantra is “...Be strong and courageous; do not be frightened and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9

Meet our Spotlight Employee for the Month of October... Mary!

Mary is an On-Call supervisor for Sunny Days. She has been with the company for almost 2 years! She lives in Iron Mountain with her son and 4 pets. Outside of work Mary enjoys watching movies with her son and being outside with her dogs. Mary’s favorite food is homemade Thai Curry, and she enjoys listening to folk music. Her all-time favorite movie is a 1970s French film called Fantastic Planet. A fun fact about Mary is that she collects antique medical books.

Mary’s favorite part about working at Sunny Days is getting to meet new people and getting great support from others. Her advice to new employees is to never be afraid to ask for help! Her favorite memory is meeting with the field managers at Pine Grove. Mary’s life mantra is “The more one does, the more one can do!” - Amelia Earhart
