At Tri Star Strength x Rehab in Kingsport, TN, we use push-up progressions to meet people exactly where they are — whether that’s shoulder rehab, longevity training, or athletic performance.

Level 1 → Hands Elevated Push-Up

Level 2 → Eccentric Push-Up

Monday. 5:45am. Before the first patient walks in.

If we’re going to ask our athletes and longevity clients to train with intent… we better be willing to do it ourselves.

Strength matters.
But so does power.

As we age, the fastest thing to disappear isn’t muscle mass — it’s Type II muscle fibers. The ones responsible for jumping, sprinting, throwing, and producing real power.

That’s why our training never becomes just “exercise.”

We still:
⚡ Sprint
⚡ Jump
⚡ Throw
⚡ Lift heavy

Because athleticism is one of the strongest predictors of long-term health and independence.

You don’t stop being an athlete when you get older.
You just stop training like one.

We’re not planning on letting that happen.
