To my dearest, beautiful friends and clients:

We are closing Status Allergy and Status Medical Aesthetics at the end of February. As most of you know, I (Neesha) lost my incredible mother at the end of August of 2023. She was the cofounder of Status Allergy, the rock of the family, and the inspiration for my aesthetics business. My father and supervising physician, Dr. Shah, is 85. Accordingly, we have decided to close this chapter and move on to the next one.

I will do one last hurrah of botox/xeomin for those who need prior to the end of February. I will also continue to offer the weight loss medications Tirzepatide and Semaglutide until the end of February.

Dates for the botox and xeomin will be announced soon. I'll probably do one Thursday and one Saturday.

Thank you to all of you. It has been my pleasure and honor working with you.

Frequently asked questions about semaglutide and tirzepatide:

1) Will I gain the weight back after I quit taking the medication?

- These medicines train you to eat better by helping curve cravings and keeping you from overeating. You'll get used to drinking more water, eating more protein, and feeling better as the weight drops. If you keep these healthy habits, you'll keep the weight off.

2) Are these medications dangerous?

- No. They are safe. This class of medications has been out for over 15 years as treatments for diabetes. We will make sure you don't have any of the few contraindications for the medications before you start.

3) Will I lose weight the first month? Do these medicines work?

- About 90 - 95% of people we start on the medicines lose weight the first month. Almost everyone experiences a decrease of inflammation and inches around their waist, arms, etc. The first month is about getting your body used to the medication and seeing what dose is best for you.

Fabulous Lip Fillers

My name is Neesha Shah, and I am the main Nurse Practitioner at Fabulous Lip Fillers. I went to Vanderbilt School of Nursing to earn my Masters of Science in Nursing, and I graduated in 2014. I became Board Certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner through the ANCC in the fall of 2014. I have always been interested in aesthetic medicine, so I went to a course in Nashville through the AMET in 2017 and got my certificate in aesthetic injections (fillers and neuromodulators, like Botox). My prior career was in law, and I am still a licensed TN lawyer, so I know how NOT to hurt you. :-) My passion, however, has always been the medical side of things, including anatomy and physiology, so I have combined that passion with my love of art to become a safe and skilled aesthetic medical injector. In addition, I practice continuing education and take courses throughout the year to keep on top of the latest techniques and products. I look forward to meeting you!
