Tory didn’t expect a colonoscopy to change her life...but it did.

When Tory turned 45, she decided to follow the recommended screening guidelines and schedule a colonoscopy, even though she felt completely fine.

During her screening, doctors discovered a peach-sized polyp that was almost entirely blocking her colon. Because it was found early, it was able to be removed before it developed into something much more serious.

Tory now encourages others not to wait for symptoms. Colon cancer often develops without warning signs, which is why routine screening is so important.

Being under 45 doesn't mean you should ignore symptoms. If something feels off, it's worth paying attention to.

Dr. Adam Coe, HMG Gastroenterologist, says these are the symptoms you should NOT ignore!

💩 Re**al bleeding
💩 Ongoing abdominal pain or cramping
💩 Persistent changes in bowel habits (diarrhea, constipation, thinner stools)
💩 Unexplained weight loss
💩 Iron-deficiency anemia
💩 Ongoing fatigue without a clear reason
