All of us at John Sloane Art hope that 'all is calm and bright' for you on this merry Christmas Eve. Now is the time to put away stress and hurry, and embrace the quiet blessings of the season. No doubt, there will still be much to do, but the work will surely go easier when your heart is focused on the true gifts of love, peace and joy.
Today, John Sloane shares his serene December painting -- 'Silent Night' -- from his very first calendar, inspired by the title of the beloved carol. In this scene, the glow of a peaceful twilight is mirrored in the warm lights of a little country chapel. Best wishes to all for a very Merry Christmas!
