🧠 Responsibilities
• Provide individual & couple sessions
• Complete intake assessments and develop treatment plans
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation
• Collaborate with a supportive team of clinicians
• Foster a safe, compassionate, and client-centered environment

✅ Qualifications
• Must hold an active Tennessee license in one of the following:
• LPC-MHSP
• LCSW
• LMFT
• Or equivalent licensure
• Bonus if also licensed in Virginia
• Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Passion for helping clients heal and thrive

Counseling in the Aging Population

Somewhere along the way, many of us absorbed the idea that as we get older, we should “have it all together.”
That we should know the coping skills.
Be emotionally regulated.
Feel secure.
Be mentally balanced.

But that’s simply not how growth — or aging — works.

As our bodies change, our roles shift, relationships evolve, and health concerns emerge, we can face brand-new struggles we’ve never had to navigate before. Hormonal changes, grief, retirement, identity shifts, loneliness, caregiving stress — these are real and tender transitions.

Needing support at 60, 70, or 80 is not failure.
It’s humanity.
