Drug store? Prescription? Why doesn't it seem to work?
So you dump a bottle of Nix, Rid, or even prescription gunk on your kids head just to watch the lice seem to be happily crawling around after? Isn't it suppose to kill them?

It use to. Pyrethrins use to be the gold standard for Lice, but over the years, Lice have evolved to be able to resist the chemicals and you're stuck in a viscious cycle of more chemicals, more combing, and.... nothing.

The problem isn't you... the problem is the product. There are really NO products on the market right now that effectively kill the lice completely, and the combs that come in the package.... well, they're pretty much trash.

Effective strand by strand comb-out is really the ONLY tried and true method for eradicating lice. You need the right comb, and the know how.

We get it — seeing white specks in hair can send you into full panic mode. But not every flake is a freeloading louse’s egg.
Here’s the difference:
Dandruff ❄️ → Flakes move easily, brush off the hair and scalp, and can appear anywhere on the scalp.
Lice Eggs (Nits) 🥚 → Glued firmly to the hair shaft, won’t budge with a flick, and are usually found close to the scalp, especially behind the ears and at the nape of the neck.

💡 Pro tip: If it doesn’t come off without a fight, it’s worth a closer look!
When in doubt, call in the pros. We can tell you in minutes if it’s lice or just a flaky situation.

Nope! 🏊‍♀️💦 Lice are like tiny Olympic athletes — they can hold their breath for HOURS. Chlorine? Doesn’t faze them. Salt water? They’ll just call it a spa day.
While you’re splashing around, those little critters cling to the hair shaft for dear life. The only way to truly get rid of lice is with a thorough, professional nit-by-nit removal.

Is it Lice or Dandruff?

🧐 Lice are tiny — like sesame seed tiny — and they don’t jump or fly. They crawl fast and hide like pros.

What to look for:
🪳 Tiny bugs moving near the scalp
🪮 Nits (eggs) glued to the hair shaft, usually within 1/4” of the scalp
❄️ Dandruff flakes fall off or pull off the hair shaft very easily — nits don’t!
