This meaningful event places remembrance wreaths on the graves of our nation’s veterans, ensuring their service and sacrifice are never forgotten.

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of retired Fire Chief Joseph Craig Dye, 67, who departed this life and entered into the arms of Jesus on April 17, 2025, at 3:33 PM, surrounded by loved ones.The family will receive friends from 12pm to 2pm on Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at Carter-Trent Funeral home in Kingsport. A funeral service will follow with Dr. Kenneth Calvert officiating.

An entombment service will follow at Oak Hill Memorial Park with the Kingsport Fire Department Chaplain Barry Carr officiating.
