6 years ago today I was about halfway through getting 20 rounds of chemotherapy for breast cancer.

Making kale green juice was one of the ways I nourished my body through the chemo, radiation, and surgeries.

Post cancer and post menopause I’ve completely rebuilt my health from the ground up. 🌱 💪 ⚡️And I feel amazing!

For many of us, our end-of-day treat is food-related, like an indulgent meal, dessert, or cocktail, built around ingredients that don’t benefit our health. 🍽
While indulging in healthy foods is certainly a better alternative, it’s important for the purposes of balance to offer your body treats that are not food-related. You might crave a long soak in the bath, an evening walk, or time to read a good book or magazine. 🛀☀️
Don’t let anything else cut into your self-love time, and practice treating yourself outside of meal times. 🌈
