He’s one of the physicians who left SOFHA. He practiced at Mountain Region Family Medicine until 12/19/25.

He will be opening up a new practice location in Kingsport - 1526 Bridgewater Lane, Kingsport TN (behind Cook Out restaurant off of Stone Drive).

Opening date TBD. But possibly March or April, 2026.

He is joining HealthStar, an independent, physician led group out of Morristown.

Today, Tennessee Gov. Bill Lee announced the launch of FeedTN.org a new platform connecting Tennesseans with resources and opportunities to serve their communities.

If you’re a SNAP recipient in Tennessee and looking for ways to fill the gap the Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) — administered by our Commodities Staff here at TDA — provides nutritious food to eligible individuals and families. If you’re SNAP eligible, you are automatically eligible for TEFAP distributions.

Distribution is done DIRECTLY from your local food bank:

During this time of SNAP benefit uncertainty, the Greater Kingsport Family YMCA will be providing free meals to all children and youth under 18.

🍎 Meal Details: "5 Component Meal" includes: Milk, Grain, Vegetables, Fruits, and Protein
📍 Locations:
Greater Kingsport Family YMCA – for Kingsport & Sullivan County children
Hawkins County sites – Brighter Horizons Youth Center on weekends and at three school sites during the week- see below
👦👧 Who: All children and youth under 18
🍽️ Meals must be eaten on site. Children will be asked to provide their name.

🕒 Serving Times:
Kingsport & Sullivan County: Starting on Saturday, November 1st
Saturday & Sunday: 12:30 PM – 2:00 PM
Monday – Friday: 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM

Hawkins County: Starting Tuesday, November 4th
Saturday & Sunday: 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM Brighter Horizons Youth Center
Monday – Friday: 3:30 PM – 5:00 PM: At three school sites: St Claire, Surgoinsville Elementary, and Hawkins Elementary
